PCE-LMD 5 Light Meter
A device used to measure the brightness of the immediate environment is a light meter. The PCE-LMD 5 measures the light intensity using a light sensor and digitally displays the information. This device is used in a wide range of different industries, including photography, lighting, filmmaking, interior design, agriculture, etc.
Product Overview
The light meter has a large measurement range of 0-400 lux. Illuminance is measured using an external silicon photodiode equipped with a spectrum filter. This suggests that the light meter can be placed in the appropriate spot for each measurement task. The measured values may be shown by the light meter in lux or in footcandles.
The measured value is shown on a scale in addition to the light meter’s standard measured value display.
The light meter has additional capabilities that allow you to examine the illumination. The light meter’s “MIN” and “MAX” buttons can be used to output the highest and lowest measured values, respectively.The displayed measured value may also be changed in respect to a reference by selecting the “REL” button. The light meter’s “PEAK” feature is used to capture peak readings. The light meter takes samples every 10 seconds.
