Metrix 5550 Mechanical Vibration Switch

The Metrix 5550 mechanical vibration switch provides basic, cost-effective vibration resistance using a simple and highly reliable “above center” spring and mass mechanism. When there is enough vibration along the sensitive axis of the switch, the switch will go from a steady “non-activated” state to a stable “enabled” state, allowing automatic shutdown or alarm in the event of an emergency. excessive vibration.

Once activated, the switch must be reset to the non-triggered state either through the local reset piston (for 5550 only) or through the voltage applied to the remote reset coil (standard on 5550G, optional on 5550).
