MET ONE NPM 3 Network Particulate Monitor

The NPM 3 Network Particulate Monitor is an advanced instrument designed for accurate and continuous measurement of particulate matter in the air.

The NPM 3 provides increased reliability while requiring less maintenance. It connects to laptops, data loggers, and CCS+ Comet Cloud Modems through a serial connection. Real-time data can be retrieved and analysed immediately, or it can be saved for later examination. To assure safety and accuracy, the monitor has a 5-mW diode laser and a protective optical enclosure. The user-friendly Comet programme from Met One allows for real-time data viewing and logging in.csv format. Calibration is done with 0.6-micron latex microspheres, and a K Factor is required for precise readings. The manufacturing K Factor is 1.0 by default, however it may need to be adjusted if the local particle source changes. A TSP head, Comet software, a mounting bracket, and a hose clamp are included in the kit.
