Fluke 710 mA Loop Valve Tester

The Fluke 710 Valve Testing Loop Calibrator simplifies HART smart control valve assessments, allowing for quick and accurate tests. The 710’s straightforward functionality and built-in test protocols provide rapid valve examination. Its quick-check results provide fast diagnostic insights, speeding up maintenance decisions. For accurate control, this calibrator combines valve testing and HART communication.

Users can generate a 4-20 mA signal to prompt valve movement while concurrently analysing the valve’s HART feedback signal using the 710’s integrated HART communication. The calibrator predicts the valve’s position and pressure based on the internal I/P, which drives valve motion, using the HART protocol.

The 710 automates test sequences by adjusting the mA signal systematically while monitoring HART position and pressure feedback. This simplifies health exams, allowing for thorough valve evaluations with little effort.

The calibrator has pre-configured valve tests such as:

  •  Manual testing: Allows for manual mA signal modifications while simultaneously monitoring HART location and pressure data.
  •  Full range ramping: Produces a thorough mA signal sweep, recording 0-100-0% position and pressure changes.
  •  Step-based testing: Determines valve response to incremental mA input changes.
  •  Speed tests: Determines the open/close speed of the valve.
  •  Bump and partial stroke tests: These tests are excellent for live processes since they examine valves within certain operational ranges.

The Fluke 710 has the following features:

  •  Control valve evaluation (Good, Marginal, or Poor).
  •  HART communication in general.
  •  Excellent mA accuracy.
  •  Compact and tough design.
  • Simple UI with a Quick-Set knob.
  •  DC loop power of 24 volts.
  •  Measurements with high resolution.
  • HART connectivity is enabled with a built-in configurable 250 resistor.
  • Two-wire connection simplified.
  • Auto shutdown to protect the battery.
  • Step and ramp time are adjustable.
