Elcometer FD800 BenchTop Flaw Detectors

The Elcometer FD800 fault finder/thickness gauge is an ultrasonic flaw detector that combines state-of-the-art flaw detection with advanced material thickness capabilities.

The Elcometer FD800 is designed for laboratory use, these gauges are the tools you need for all your troubleshooting needs. The Time Corrected Gain (TCG) feature automatically compensates for sound attenuation through a material, further enhancing gauge performance.

The gauge’s performance is further improved by the time-corrected gain (TCG) feature, which automatically corrects for sound attenuation caused by a material.

The FD800DL+ has 6GB internal memory and an external SD slot, allowing up to 64GB with full data logging via RS232 data output to ElcoMaster® data management software.

In the FD800DL+ network category, the device allows the user to enter “OBSTRUCT” into the network to identify inaccessible locations for easy measurement.

Detection types: fault TRIG, DAC, AWS, TCG, zero crossing, edge, peak measurement mode 1 PE, PETP (temperature compensation), EE (ThruPaintâ„¢), EEV, CT (coating), and PEC
