This premium Bourdon tube pressure gauge (Wika 232-30) was created specifically for the process industry’s stricter safety regulations.

The Wika 232-30 pressure gauge is created and certified by WIKA in line with ASME B40.100 and EN 837-1 standards. This safety version has a blow-out back, a strong baffle wall between the measurement system and the dial, and non-splintering glass. As media or components may only be expelled from the rear of the case in the event of a malfunction, the operator is safeguarded at the front.

The measurement ranges needed for a broad range of applications are ensured by scale ranges of 0… 0.6 to 0… 1,600 bar [0… 10 to 0… 20,000 psi].

All instruments can be ordered with an optional liquid filling for use in challenging working situations (such as vibrations).

The Bourdon tube pressure gauge’s functioning is based on the idea that metal deforms when pressure changes. A Bourdon tube bends against the pressure when fluid pressure enters it. A needle and indicator inside the gauge serve to indicate this deflection, which varies linearly with pressure.
