Measuring wood moisture quickly and non-destructively

The testo 635 2 uses an optional diffused field probe (article number: 0636 6160) to quickly and non-destructively test material moisture in the wood. Characteristic curves are available to measure wood moisture in softwood and hardwood and chipboard. These feature curves were developed in collaboration with the LPI Institute.

Measurement results are taken up to a depth of 5 cm and can be saved at the touch of a button. Readings of testo 635 2 are displayed as a weight percentage of the dry mass of the material.
