FLIR MR59 Ball Probe Moisture Meter with Bluetooth
The FLIR MR59 is a moisture metre featuring a one-of-a-kind ball probe design and Bluetooth connectivity. It is intended to monitor moisture levels accurately in a wide range of materials, making it useful in building inspections, construction, and other applications where moisture detection is critical.
The MR59 is a low-cost pinless metre designed for moisture remediation, pest control, house or building inspection, and floor installation experts. It is a high-quality, dependable, and simple-to-use moisture detector. When the meter’s display is obscured by wires, it is simple to view readings on a mobile device using the FLIR Tools® Mobile app.
FLIR MR59 Key characteristics include
The FLIR MR59 has a ball probe sensor that allows for non-destructive moisture detection in materials such as wood, plasterboard, masonry and others. The ball probe design offers consistent and dependable readings on a variety of surfaces.
Bluetooth Connectivity: The Bluetooth capability allows the moisture metre to communicate wirelessly with a mobile device (smartphone or tablet) via the FLIR Tools Mobile app. This enables users to see and analyse measurement data remotely, capture photos, and generate reports.
Moisture content in materials is measured by the MR59 as a percentage of moisture content by weight (MCw) or moisture content by volume (MCv). This enables users to determine whether a material is overly wet, which might suggest potential problems such as mould growth or structural damage.
Data Logging and Reporting: The moisture metre has the ability to log and store measurement data, which can be beneficial for tracking changes over time or documenting inspection results. The FLIR Tools Mobile app enables users to create professional reports and quickly share them.
Pin and Pinless Measurement Modes: The MR59 has pin and pinless (non-invasive) measurement modes. The pinless mode is ideal for rapid, surface-level examinations, but the pin mode allows for more detailed observations by piercing the material.
The moisture metre has a backlit LED display that displays clear and easy-to-read moisture level measurements.
