MEGGER SMRT43 MULTI-PHASE RELAY TESTER
The SMRT43 is a multipurpose, light-weight, field portable test set capable of testing a wide variety of electro-mechanical, solid-state and microprocessor-based protective relays, motor overload relays and similar protective devices.
The SMRT43 test system has the ability to be manually controlled with Megger’s Smart Touch View Interface™ (STVI). The STVI, with its large, full color, high resolution, TFT LCD touch screen allows the user to perform manual, steady-state and dynamic testing quickly and easily using the manual test screen, as well as using built-in preset test routines for most popular relays (see STVI datasheet for details).
For full automatic testing the SMRT43 may be controlled by Megger Relay Testing Management Software (RTMS). RTMS is a Microsoft® Windows® XP® Service Pack 3/Vista™/7/8/10 compatible software program designed to manage all aspects of protective relay testing using the new Megger SMRT33, (see RTMS datasheet for details).
MEGGER SMRT43 Key Features:
The Megger SMRT43 Multi-Phase Relay Tester is a highly sophisticated and versatile testing device designed to meet the rigorous demands of testing modern multi-phase protection relays and schemes. This innovative tool is ideal for applications in commissioning and maintenance, providing a comprehensive testing solution for utilities, industrial applications, and service companies.
- The SMRT43 is capable of simultaneously testing three-phase relays and protection schemes, which allows it to efficiently handle complex testing scenarios. This feature is particularly useful in environments where accurate real-time simulation of faults and other power system conditions are critical.
- The tester provides variable power and current outputs, ensuring that it can be used to test a wide range of relays, from overcurrent to more complex distance and differential relays. Its powerful output can generate up to 30 Amps continuously and up to 60 Amps for short durations on each phase. This capability ensures that even high-demand tests can be conducted smoothly and effectively.
- The SMRT43 includes an intuitive user interface that simplifies the setup and execution of tests. The interface is designed to be accessible to both experienced technicians and newcomers, reducing training time and increasing efficiency in the field.
