Megger High Voltage discharge rod-EST

The EST high voltage discharge rod is ideal for damped discharge and direct, visible earthing/grounding of high voltage cables and test units, and it is ideal for damped discharge and direct, visible earthing/grounding. It has a live conductor at the tip, and the rod has a discharge resistor that controls the discharge current and assures a damped discharge. The rod can eliminate the post-charging effect by instantaneously eliminating the cable charge.

The discharge rods comprise GFK (fiberglass reinforced plastic), include a handle, and are conservatively rated for physical contact with high voltage. You can also select from six discharge rod types with varying voltages, resistances, and lengths.
