Megger DET4TD2-4-TERMINAL GROUND RESISTANCE AND SOIL RESISTIVITY TESTER

The DET4TD2 from Megger is an upgraded earth loop tester that can conduct 2, 3, and 4-point testing with a 25V or 50V output.

The Megger DET4TD2 is suitable for use both indoors and outdoors due to its IP54 classification (protection from dust and water jets), and tests are simply selected and initiated using the big rotary dial and test button. There is also a button on the front of the instrument that allows you to convert between 25 and 50V modes.

This earth tester will also automatically analyze and report the connection and status of any P and C spikes that are connected, displaying the results on the built-in LCD screen. The DET4TD2 can also detect ground voltage accurately thanks to a built-in voltmeter, and it can measure earth voltages up to 100V as well as resistance measurements from 0.01 to 20k (with resistance accuracy of 2%3 digits).

The Megger DET4TD2 is a non-rechargeable instrument that is powered by eight AA batteries. The DET4TR2, its sister tester, is rechargeable.

If a leadset with this rating is utilised, this product meets the criteria of IEC61010-1 100V CAT IV between terminal pairs. The DET4TD2 also meets KEMA K85B and EN61557 “Electrical safety in low voltage distribution systems up to 1000V a.c. and 1500V d.c. – Equipment for testing, measuring, or monitoring of protective measures.”
