Precise in-flight sensor stabilization is essential for good data quality, regardless of the sensor. For imaging sensors, this means providing the sharpest possible images regardless of aircraft motion. For LiDAR sensors, this means that point spacing along the flight path must remain as constant as possible, even when the aircraft is pitching due to turbulence. And for both types of sensors, accurate roll and drift compensation allows for smaller margins when planning lateral overlaps, so fewer flight lines are needed to cover the desired area.

The Leica PAV100 family includes the PAV100, PAV100- HP, and PAV100-HPH models and provides the optimal mount for the sensor types used. Install sensors from 5 to 100 kg without compromising stabilization performance. The common platform uses standard interfaces for aircraft and sensor systems, maximizing flexibility and minimizing training costs.
