Multi-Gas, Leak Check, Bar Hole Gas Detector RKI GX-2012

With RKI Instruments GX-2012, you have multiple tools in one instrument. With 3 operating modes, GX-2012 can be used for confined space and security monitoring in the usual functional way; search for leaks in Leak Test mode, and check for underground leaks in Bar Hole mode. When equipped with the optional TC sensor, the GX-2012 can measure 100% methane by volume and automatically ranges from %LEL to %volume. This is ideal for flow bleeding testing.

The GX-2012 is RKI’s most minor 1- to 5-sensor personal gas monitor with an integrated sample pump, built on high-quality microsensor technology. Weighing just 12.3 ounces, the GX-2012 can monitor standard confined space gases (LEL flammables, oxygen, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide).

The large LCD screen of the RKI GX 2012 shows all gas readings, battery level, and the current time and automatically lights up in the event of an alarm. Standard alarm types include vibration, visual and audible alarms, which can be set to latch. Controlled by a microprocessor, the GX-2012 continuously self-checks sensor connections, low battery, circuit problems, low flow, and calibration errors. The RKI GX 2012 can be operated with either Li-ion or alkaline batteries. The batteries are easy to replace and require no tools to access the removable battery compartment or pack.
