The term “lifetime” in this context refers to the period of seven years following Fluke’s discontinuation of producing the product; however, the guarantee must be used for a minimum of fifteen years from the date of purchase. Damage resulting from abuse, mishandling, contamination, modification, accident, unusual operating or handling conditions, damage, or regular wear and tear of mechanical components is not covered by this warranty. This warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original buyer.
