Chauvin Arnoux CA6462 Earth and Resistivity Tester

The Chauvin Arnoux CA6462-Earth and Resistivity Tester carries out resistance measurement (0 to 1999Ω) for earth electrode testing, ground resistivity testing, and coupling tests via the traditional rod method. Test currents can be 10mA, 1mA, or 0.1mA and the tester is suitable for three- or four-wire testing. The equipment is very easy to set up thanks to four color-coded terminals and the user can change between three- or four-wire testing with a handy captive bar.

Automatic test current and range selection make measurement more precise and reliable and the Chauvin Arnoux CA6462 has three flashing LEDs that serve to warn of testing problems including current circuit fault, high resistance, and high environmental noise. Readings are clearly displayed on the digital screen which has to backlight for use in poor visibility.
