Piezo Verifiers: A standout feature in the DETEX series is the inclusion of piezo verifiers. By depressing the verifier handle at a rate of 3 strokes per second, a piezo crystal inside generates approximately 1800 volts. This generated voltage is then applied to the tip of the detector to test the integrity of the current path and verify the proper functionality of the indicators.

Continuous Monitoring: All DETEX models are designed for continuous monitoring and are equipped without an on/off switch, ensuring they are always ready for immediate use and reducing the risk of user error.

Broad Range of Voltage Detectors: The DETEX voltage detectors are available in seven models that cover a wide range of applications, from distribution class to transmission line voltages up to 550 kV. Among these, six models feature an electronic ‘beeper’ that provides both audible and visual indications of phase-to-ground AC voltages. These detectors meet ANSI C84.1-1982 standards, ensuring compliance with industry safety norms. Additionally, there is a model equipped with an LED indicator specifically designed for indoor testing of grounded AC systems, where enhanced visibility in poor lighting conditions is crucial.

Phasing Testers: The DETEX series includes two models of phasing testers suitable for systems up to 34.5 kV.
